We have carefully selected our solar products to ensure our customers get a premium experience
At Interfaced Energy we work closely with our customers to design a solar system that will meet their energy needs & budget range. Our goal is to design a system that will last as long as possible and provide the best possible outcomes for their home or business needs.
We are a family owned company, and our focus is customer first. For us to provide a premium experience we start by carefully selecting the very best the industry has to offer. This rigorous process is necessary to ensure we are providing the best solar solution for homes and businesses.
Solar Panels
Our sun is a natural nuclear reactor. It releases tiny packets of energy called photons, which travel 149.6 million kilometres from the sun to Earth in about 8 minutes. Every hour, enough photons impact our planet to generate enough solar energy to theoretically satisfy global energy needs for an entire year.
A solar panel works by allowing these photons (particles of light) to knock electrons free from atoms, generating a flow of electricity. To simplify, the panels convert sunlight into DC (direct current) electricity.

Solar Inverters
A solar inverter is a crucial piece of equipment in a solar system. It's a device that converts the DC (direct current) electricity that the solar panels generated to AC (alternating current) electricity, for use in your home.
Your home appliances (such as fridge, pool pumps, air con, lights etc) use this power instead of drawing power from the grid. If there is no battery storage, it will also send any unused power back into the grid.

Solar Batteries
A solar power storage system typically uses 1 or more batteries and inverters. A battery storage system holds onto unused power so it can be used when consumption is higher and the solar system isn't producing enough energy to power the home.
How quickly the battery storage system charges depends on the amount of extra energy being produced, which will depend on factors such as the size of the solar system and the current electricity consumption within the home.

Solar Monitoring
There are currently two types of solar monitoring - the first is the standard inverter production monitoring, which comes embedded within the inverter. The second is a range of additional add-ons that provide a more in depth analysis of your systems health and performance.
Depending on the system, these add-ons can give you real-time data on everything from panel production to grid consumption, the temperate of your panels and how much impact shading has on their output.
